Compact, field-deployable Raman – without compromise
The XS series was designed to fulfill our mission of ‘Bringing Raman to Life’ – small enough to be used in the back of an ambulance or by field inspectors, sensitive & stable enough to give accurate & dependable answers, and cost-effective enough to open up new markets and use cases for Raman. Consistent with this mission, we are offering both an XS model for point sampling of materials (point-and-shoot, liquids, and powders), and an XSB model for line sampling of biomaterials (SERS substrates, lateral flow assays, inhomogeneous samples). - High throughput optical bench design based on our patented VPH gratings
- Low f#, highly sensitive optical design with low power, uncooled CMOS sensor
- Integrated TEC controlled single mode laser & probe / sampling optics
- 633, 785, or 830 nm excitation (XS) or novel 785 nm line-illumination sampling (XSB)
- Raman fingerprint range & resolution suitable for robust identification and classification
- High shot-to-shot signal reproducibility & wavenumber stability
- Accessories (XS & XSB): point and shoot, cuvette/vial holder, polystyrene calibration standard
